Overview

The Hasselblad XCD 28mm f/4 P is the lightest and most compact lens in the X System, combining portability with outstanding optical performance. With a 22mm full-frame equivalent focal length, it is ideal for nature, street photography, and urban architecture.

Its advanced optical construction of nine elements in eight groups—including two aspherical elements and one ED element—ensures edge-to-edge sharpness while minimizing chromatic aberrations. Designed to resolve up to 100 million pixels, it produces exceptional clarity and detail across the entire image area.

A minimum focusing distance of 3.5" with a 1:6 magnification ratio allows for rich, close-up imagery of flowers, food, and other fine details. The linear stepping motor enables fast, accurate autofocus, further enhanced when paired with the PDAF system of the X2D 100C. Full-time manual override is also available.

The built-in leaf shutter supports speeds up to 1/4000 sec with full flash synchronization at all shutter speeds, allowing creative flash use even in bright conditions. Compact yet powerful, the XCD 28mm f/4 P delivers both convenience and professional-grade performance.
