With its expansive 120° angle of view (12mm equivalent in full-frame), this rectilinear lens captures subjects and surroundings in striking detail while keeping vertical lines straight and distortion to a minimum.

Optimized for the latest 40MP X-Trans sensors, the optical design incorporates two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements to deliver edge-to-edge sharpness and suppress aberrations.

Despite its wide perspective, the lens is remarkably portable—weighing just 7.6 oz—and is built to perform in a variety of conditions. Its inner focusing mechanism ensures fast, accurate AF with minimal focus breathing, making it equally well-suited for stills and video work.
